Google Analytics
How well is your website performing?
Are you monitoring your website statistics? Not sure how?
Google Analytics is our recommended web analytics solution giving you insight into information about your website traffic and marketing effectiveness.
Without doubt, adding Google Analytics to your website is the most crucial thing you could do for your business online. Gauge your business performance by understanding who visits your site, where they come from, how long they stay and what they are looking for. Once Google Analytics has been added to your website, you will be able to measure, analyse and enhance your website's performance.
If you're not currently accessing this information, act now. All you need is a Google Account - register for a Google Account then sign in to Google Analytics. If you would like the Webz team to be able to access your site statistics, then add webzconz@gmail.com as an Administrator to your account.

- Go to Analytics Settings (top left)
- Go to Filter Manager (bottom right)
- Click Add Filter (on right hand side of grey title bar)
- Type in Filter name, i.e. Exclude My IP
- Check Radio Button: Predefined Filter
- From the drop-down boxes, choose 'Exclude', 'traffic from the IP addresses', 'that are equal to'
- Enter your IP address. Find out your IP address here.
- Apply filter to: Highlight your domain name and press the Add button
- Save changes
Then follow these steps again to 'Exlude Webz IP' - this time enter Webz' IP address: 203.79.109.89.
It is important to exclude these IP addresses to ensure your web analytics data isn't distorted.
